Welcome to my Web site!

 

My name is Randy Trahan.   I was born in Houston Texas in 1945.  My father, Ernie Trahan, worked for Creole Petroleum in Venezuela.  We lived in Lagunillas (49 - 57), La Salina (57 - 58) and  Amuay (58 - 64).  I have put together this web site mainly to share old photos with friends who are now scattered all over the world.

Are you looking for a way to keep in touch with old friends from the oil camps of Venezuela?  The Creole Annuitants Association has invited those of us who were children of Creole employees in Venezuela to join under the umbrella of their organization.  It is an opportunity to associate with friends from all the oil camps.   If you are interested (please be interested), contact Sharon (Burke) Cox (sharonbcox@charter.net) to get on the list.

There is an organization, Hijos y Hijas de Amuay, that tries to keep track of "kids" from Amuay and plans reunions.  The keeper of the list  is Tommy Jackson ( bradleyjackson@earthlink.net ).  Please help us keep the list up to date by keeping Tommy advised of your current information.   What he needs is:

bulletMailing Address
bulletPhone Number
bulletEmail Address (if you've got one)
bullet8th Grade Graduation Year.
