In 1993 I took a trip back to Amuay. My Brother, Keith was working on a refinery
expansion project at the time and living in what used to be the old Shell camp.
My mother and I went down for a visit and stayed with Keith, his wife
Claudia, son Bryan and daughter Erin. First we flew to Aruba where we stayed one
night. The next day we flew on to the Las Piedras International Airport.
Can you believe it? Form the old one-room cinder block building with the hanging
sign squeaking incessantly in the wind, Las Piedras has now become an international
airport. Mind you, it's not JFK, but the terminal is a good ten times the size of
the old building.
Well, here are some of the pictures I took while I was there. First let's go to
Club Bahia.

One other thing I had to do while I was there was climb Santa Anna. It's a lot
higher than it used to be. I don't remember it being so hard to climb. If you
want to see pictures of that trip, click on the next line.
